Foremost Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman has studied Kabbalah for over thirty years and presents a scientific approach to spiritual evolvement that is based on the writings of Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag and other great Kabbalists throughout the generations. Michael Laitman is the founder and president of the Bnei Baruch Kabbalah Education & Research Institute, which is dedicated to teaching and sharing the wisdom of Kabbalah. Professor of Ontology, PhD in Philosophy and Kabbalah, and MSc in bio-Cybernetics. Father of three and grandfather of three.
Dr. Laitman has received the unlikely distinction of being today's foremost authority on authentic Kabbalah. His research and study led him to ancient sources which reveal a science about how the natural laws of living systems work in human thought and desire, and the direct way this impacts human relations globally.
He is the author of The Complete Idiots Guide to Kabbalah, as well as thirty other books on the subject published in fourteen languages. Help sorting out the chaos in my mind,

At last I have a glimmer of hope for the world! As I looked at the world situation, all I could see was suffering, confusion and selfishness. There is so much beauty and joy in both nature and in man, but we seem intent on destroying it all. This book gave me a sense of why this is happening, how all the pieces connect together, and the potential for restoration of harmony in life. This book was my introduction to Kabbalah. After reading it, I wanted more.

A fast, easy read. I also found it very relevant to the problems and struggles we are all facing. This book was written in 2006 and in that respect, this book is like a prophetic script begging us to open our eyes. Though this book is not an apocalyptic revelation of the end of the world. It is a practical account of why we have reached this point in humanities evaluation, not just financially, but with all of the globe's endeavors: socially, politically, individually & philosophically. The solution is in recognizing our connection with everyone and everything in a way we've never considered before we began to suffer. And further explains that we need to this on a scale that can actually reverse further suffering, by revealing a truer purpose; profound love and connection between everyone. If you've ever been curious about what Kabbalah is all about this book can put you on the right path and will offer an explanation for any crisis you may be experiencing.

The escalating global financial crisis makes this book, written over two years ago, incredibly relevant. Laitman explains, "The purpose of the crisis is to make us realize that we are treading the wrong path and must change course." How to change course is precisely what Laitman shares: it is to implement a fascinatingly simple principle of altruism. Altruism is the natural law that even our own bodies obey as each cell and each organ operates only to fulfill the needs of the entity as a whole. Laitman offers proofs of both the causes of the economic crisis, and all other social, personal, and global problems and also for the solution.
