About the Artist

In 1994, Denise, a Delaware native, graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Engineering. She moved to New York City and began working as an intern at Right Track Studios. She is now a staff engineer at Kampo Studios. From 2000–2002; In between sessions, Denise found the time to record, produce, and mix her first full length record entitled "Beauty Lied", then did it again, releasing her sophmore effort in 2005, "Chaos and Congeniality". Denise’s music has been featured on daytime television’s “One Life to Live” and she has received a great deal of airplay in the US and abroad. She has been touring extensively throughout the US and Canada, and also helps to raise money for charity orgganizations such as RAINN, Amnesty International, and IndieMusic For Life (a benefit for cancer research) Throughout 2003 and 2004, she toured extensively with SirensWildRide, a national touring collective of female singer/songwriters, and she performed alongside Alix Olsen at the Girlfest Honolulu 2004 weeklong event. Denise continues to help other independent artists in their efforts as a producer/engineer/songwriter and vocal coach. Her songwriting ability spans many different genres and she hopes to share her music with a wider audience.

I saw Denise play live last year and bought the CD at the show. It is an amazing CD. Typically when I buy a CD - I am lucky if I like more than 1 song on it. All of the songs on this one are great!
