I was moved to tears while praying with this CD the first time through so to say that I am very pleased with this presentation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet may be perhaps a bit of an understatement. The music is contemporary but harmonious with the subject matter so that I didn't find myself myself distracted but drawn in by it. The vocals are very well done and change just enough to mark your place within the prayer without distracting from the meditative purpose. The music should appeal to most everyone except those who think anything except Gregorian Chant is inappropriate and those who must have music with obvious percussion. "I am a Voice Crying for Mercy" is a perfect grace note to the rest and reminded me very much of John Paul II's CD "Abba Pater."

I couldn't give this five stars because of the track which introduces the Divine Mercy Apostolate track between the song("I am a Voice Crying for Mercy")and the body of the chaplet itself. It is terribly jarring in what is otherwise an excellent devotional aid and belonged in writing in the CD notes and not on the CD itself.

I have found this cd to be a truly inspirational devotion. I have played it twice a day since I have brought it. My children who are teenagers can also relate to this beautifully sung Divine Mercy as it has a modern-day appeal. A**************

A most spiritual and inspiring CD. I watch the real thing on t.v. on EWTN every weekend at 3 pm and it is amazing and wonderful. I always wanted the CD for myself and now I have it and it is the same thing from the t.v. one. I am thrilled with it. The music and the words and the people singing are beautiful and wonderful and moving. Truly a wonderful work of art to be sure.

I first heard this CD in Church on Divine Mercy Sunday. I purchased it and keep it in the CD player in my car. I've found that I can pray/sing the entire Chaplet on one round trip to Sam's Club and back.

No matter how many times I listen to it, I never tire of it. God is good.

I agree with another reviewer that the blurb after the first song belongs in the CD notes as a written statement and takes the listener out of the peaceful, soulful place into left brain. I just hit the NEXT button.

I have been praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet for 10 years now but this is certainly my favorite version of the Chaplet. The melody is beautiful and the vocals show definite passion for this message and move me to tears. I wholeheartedly recommend buying this CD and making it a part of your daily prayer life. You will not be disappointed.

I purchased this CD after listening to EWTN and the birth of our baby. After our baby was born, I missed my regular schedule of devotion and prayer time. Those of you with babies know how your schedule changes to that of the one your baby develops into; however I could pop this CD into our player when convenient for me (as apposed to trying to keep a specific time or keep a watch for the EWTN broadcast) and still participate in devotion to Our Lord. Not surprisingly, I would listen during feeding time and it had the added benefit of soothing our baby, too! I would recommend this gift to a new mother so she can keep her connection to prayer time easier. Also great for in the vehicle.

The first time iI heard The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy on EWTN I fell in love with it. That was about five years ago. Originally, I purchased the audio tape. When that wore out, I purchased the CD. The group that sings this has such a calming effect on a person. I turn the tape on when I go to bed. I always all asleep within a few minutes. Very rarely do I ever get to hear the whole CD before I am asleep. I would recommend this CD to anyone who is a Catholic. It is beautiful.

I highly recommend this CD. The songs in it are very professionally recorded with outstanding singers. When you listen to it, it calms your spirit and refreshes you. Diane

This rendition of the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, recorded live
at the Marian Helpers centre in Massachusetts, is simply amazing.
The voices are as beautiful and clear as crystal and it is an
all-around lovely piece. It is a joy to sing along with this
prayer in this version. Touching, lovely. 5 Stars.
