Normally, I am not one who goes for those songs that the DJs love to play over and over on the radio.Tell the truth,alternative rock music like the ones by Def Leppard or placebo are more my tempo. I've heard of the Moffatts when they released their chapter i:A New Beginning back in 1998,and i wasn't impressed--all those love songs(not to mention their pre-pubescent voice back then)turned me off. Not this album though-"Misery" was truly a gem in this album the loud bass lends a rough edge to the song.Undeniably though,the 12 songs in the album could not break away from the theme love,but at least these artists have enough sense not to make it sound too sugary sweet or anything like that. i was in for a pleasent surprise when I discovered the 2 hidden tracks:"frustration" and "Over the rainbow".These 2 songs are truly excellent--they sound Nirvana like--true blue pop fans may hate them though. From the album,you could HEAR the guys growing.Their voices keeps getting better and better.Just compare "Miss you Like Crazy" and "Misery",and you'll get the idea. Well worth the money,this one.I've had it for 4 days,and I'm proud to admit that it has been getting more spins that my prized Nirvana,def leppard and Placebo CDs all put together. The new Moffatts album is pure gold, uh platinum I mean. They've been compared to Hanson, the Beatles, and the Jackson 5, but other than the similarity of being musicans and guys, most of the similarity stops there. I enjoyed this CD just as much as my 10 year old sister. Their sound is rock/pop and sure do play it to the fullest. "Misery" is a prime example of one of their songs. Longing and desire for the girl of his dreams shows through in older brother Scott's voice. The boys, handsome and charming, deserve their sucess almost as much as this slice of chocolate cake I'm about to devour. Indeed the Moffatts did strike platinum

What a great album! The songs are original, bold and fun to listen to. This album has a song for every emotion from sadness to rebellion. I got many C.Ds for X-mas this year, but this was absolutly my top choice. The band is good looking, fun and seem to have a personality all their own. They also write thier own material which earns them mega credit. This is one satisfyed fan.

The Moffatts are totally not just another boy band. They have new voices and original sounds. I love the mix of music they use in their CD. I just got it after listening to the samples and I can't turn it off. I will definitely watch their progress, and invest in another one of their albums. They are great, and I'm not just talking about their very good looks, buy this CD. ÜÜÜÜÜ

I just want to say that this is the best album i have ever heard. The Moffatts are completely talented and its so awesome that they can write such cool lyrics at ages 15-16. I went to one of their concerts and they really make their fans feel loved and on top of that, they put on the best show! This album rocks and its really worth the money! The Moffatts rock!

The Moffatts are the best! When they came here in the Philippines last June 1998 they received a platinum for this album. When they came back in December 1998 their album hits quadruple platinum. Their song "If Life Is So Short" became no. 1 in MTV Asia Hitlist, their song "Miss You Like Crazy" became no. 1 in Channel V Asian Top 20 for 6 weeks, their songs "Girl of My Dreams" and "I'll Be There For You" made it to the top 10 of both MTV Asia Hitlist and Channel V Asian Top 20. Their song "Misery" became no. 1 in MTV Dyes Philippines.

The Moffats is well-loved here in the Philippines and they are sooooo popular in Southeast Asia. Their 3 concerts last December 1998 were all sold out and their concert last October 24 this year was sold out too.

I recommend this album to all music lovers especially to the fans of The Moffatts.

Thsi C.D. is sooo rockin it has a nice pop touch to it but there is someother stuff that will blow your mind!There are 2 secrets songs on the C.D. and to all the Canadian fans this is a little diffrent but it is still our guys!

THIS ALBUM IS EXCELLENT! EVERY MOFFATT FAN SHOULD HAVE IT! WATCH OUT FOR THE SECRET TRACKS "FRUSTRATION" AND "OVER THE RAINBOW". THIS ALBUM IS 100% BRILLIANCE!

Um...I do not like the Moffatts! In my opinion they are a bad copy of my favorite group, Hanson. They just want to copy Hanson because Hanson become so sucessful in 1997. Like, they used to do country music, but now they're doing pop/rock just because of Hanson. And, they've said that Hanson should thank them for their sucess. I think not.

Sorry, but the Moffatts are not for me. Hanson is. Besides, the Moffatts scare me!

I first heard of these guys when I was watching MUCH MUSIC many months ago, and saw the video for "Girl Of My Dreams". I was hooked, so I went out and bought TWO copies of the import CD (one for my car, one for my home - natch!). Now I've bought two copies of their USA CD -- I love 'em! "I'll Be There For You" gets me everytime -- very emotional. And there's so many good tracks on this CD -- you gotta get it! I mean, even if you don't like most of them, I have a feeling you can't go wrong because the CD's worth it. These guys are pros, and I wish the boys much continued success -- they deserve it -- and I'd really like to see them hit #1 on the Billboard Charts! Yeah! :)
