The Char Broil T-Frame 8 Quickset w/sideburner provides a nice step up in size, style, and function. This T-Frame Quickset features a dual control 40,000 BTU stainless steel burner system with vaporizer bar. Powered with a step up electronic ignition system, the T-Frame has 405 sq. in. of porcelain wire grate primary cooking surface. The swingaway warming rack provides a comfortable space for warming bread or other foods while still cooking the main course on the primary surface. The T-Frame 8 also has an 8,000 BTU sideburner for additional cooking ability. The lid features a classic matte porcelain finish, highlighted by the stainless steel handle. Further accenting the look, the stainless steel control panel adds to the style of this grill. The frame features weather resistant sideshelves with built in tool holders and a powder coated cart with full front panel.

Worst grill ever.,

We will never buy another Char-Broil product again EVER and highly recommend that you do the same. We bought a Char-Broil Quickset Grill, model 463862006, which appears very similar to this model. This grill is a one-season only grill. After owning ours for a year and a half and grilling less than 2 dozen times, our grill's regulator broke. Char-Broil would not offer us help to fix this part, offering only to sell us a replacement part for nearly one-third the original price of the grill! Customer service was frustrating and unhelpful. They did not listen to us about the problems and were unwilling to be creative about solving the problem. A service technician at a local grill store examined our regulator and hose assembly (VHR assembly), discussed the remedies we tried, and concluded that it was virtually impossible for our problem to have been caused by spider mites clogging the valves (the repeated suggestion from Char-Broil as to what caused the problem). The VHR assembly is highly non-standard and can only be procured from Char-Broil.

Not bad for the money,

We've owned this grill for the past three years and only have two complaints:
1) When set on the lowest flame, the grill whistles VERY loudly. After numerous attempts, I cannot stop it from making this noise. As long as it's set just above the lowest flame setting, the whistling goes away. 2) The side burner never worked consistently. This wasn't a problem for me because I had no real use for it, but for those needing a side burner, this grill isn't for you. Other than those two complaints, this grill has served us well over the past three years. It cooks evenly and the grilling space provided is more than enough for a small family. If you want a grill that works but don't need many frills or enough space to feed an army, this is the grill for you.

I have owned my grill since 2003 and it is still going strong. I do not keep in inside and occasionally it is left uncovered. It is used quite frequently and I just last week had my first problem. I have to replace the vaporizer bar. We lived in Punta Gorda Fl. and the grill went through hurricane Charley and being without power for 13 days it saw a lot of heavy use as I and my neighbors used it to prepare food. I would highly suggest that anyone looking for a grill consider this one. If I ever have to replace my grill it will be another Char Broil
