We got this for my Dad for Father's Day. I was not there for assembly, but heard that it went well. It is so much nicer looking in person than in the ad pix. A very nice little unit. Dad did say that he might want to drill some holes in the bottom to get a better draft going. But, all in all, we are thrilled with this product.

Guys, this is a great purchase. It's a quality unit and is bigger than it looks on the package. Charbroil has done a fabulous job of making such a good little unit for such a good price. Unless you're looking for something totally snazzy and are willing to spend a lot of money, don't pass this one up!

I bought this fireplace a few months ago and have enjoyed many a nice night drinking a martini and watching the fire. This fireplace got me motivated to cut down the tree that died in my yard last year. Half way through burning it! Now for the unit. It arrived nicely packed with all parts. Installation was a snap, about 15 minutes. There were dents in the screen, which is obviously part of the packing process. They are so small, though, that they cannot be seen unless someone is specifically looking for them. The removable screens on the side are nice for adding more wood while the fire is still going. Be sure to use mitts or tongs, however, or you will get burned.

We were so excited about getting this fire pit & rightly so... it's great & we couldn't ask for more! Adding wood is a breeze, it radiates heat well, was very easy to put together & so far hasn't shown any rust at all (although we do expect it to eventually)...

After researching outdoor fireplaces on Amazon, I chose this one because of all of its positive reviews. I am so pleased that I did. Not only did this item arrive on my doorstep within three days, but it was extremely easy to assemble. It is a good size for building a nice fire, and the removeable screens are great for the safety of little ones around the fire. I love how sturdy it is, but it's still light enough to move so we can mow. One unexpected bonus: the packing materials make great kindling!
If you are looking for some great family time that's not centered around the television, buy this fireplace!

We've had this firepit for over a month and have had several fires in it. My wife assembled it with no problem and as of yet, no rust of burn through. Great value for the buck.

I really spent a long time looking for a fire-pit on the internet. Had actually purchased the coffe-end table that turns into a fire-pit when you remove the copper finished top, but that was a total disaster. True-value - the vendor, basically lied twice to me with regard to shipping dates. Needless to say it was over 2 weeks and numerous phone-tag sessions before they finally just said that item is now on back order and will be available in 2 more weeks!! But my experience here with the Charbroil was completely the opposite. Arrived on time, solid build, EZ assembly (2 people if your not so adept), and ample space for wood make this unit stand out...and the price is unbelievable for the quality. Only reservation is the side units which detach for access on both sides. Although that is a positive feature, they are not securely attached to the unit and just sort of snap into place. It would have been better designed if you could latch lock them for added safety. But all in all, very pleased.

From the moment I gave this present to my next door neighbor, they have used it non stop. They don't have a traditional fireplace like we do, so, I got them the next best thing. They love being outdoors, and sitting next to a crackling fire. They told me its the best present they could have ever received. Construction is very easy with the included instructions, and the black powdered coated parts are very durable. For the price, its a very good value.

Very strong made firebox. The legs and bottom are made of a thicker steel than I was expecting. The screen keeps any floating ashes from escaping.
I use this product to burn limbs, sticks and pine-cones from my yard when a burning ban is not in effect. It works great.

I ordered this item a couple of weeks ago, and it arrived in the time promised and was very easy to set up. It's a great size, and when we made s'mores, we were able to open both sides to allow 6 of us to roast our marshmallows at the same time! We can't wait to use it again.
