The only problem with this fire bowl is that it doesn't come with a tool for lifting the screen off of the fire when you want to add more logs. Other than that, it's great fun and looks so pretty on the patio. A great gift for that 7th Anniversary (apparently, you're supposed to get something 'copper').

I am very pleased with this product,it works just great for our use.It holds the right amount of wood for our needs, and in case of any wind the screen cover does a fantastic job.I keep this product in my RV,I can take it apart and put it together in uder 10 minutes,very pleased.

We love this fire bowl. We have two locations on our property where we like to have a fire and this is so easy to move around the yard . We had a fixed fireplace, but I hated how it looked. It was always full of ashes since it was such a chore to scoop them up into a bucket and dump them. With the fire bowl, when the ashes (and fire bowl of course) are cold, you just lift the copper bowl off the base, and carry it to where you want to dump the ashes (great for the vegetable garden), so the fire bowl always looks neat. It was gorgeous the first time we used it, with all that gleaming copper, but obviously it doesn't stay that way. It burns very hot and we've cleaned up the yard of all the fallen trees and brush. The screen top is great because you can even use it on breezy days since the screen keeps anything from blowing away. It would be nice if it came with something to lift off the hot screen, but we use a wooden stick with a little bend on the end to lift it, not too classy, but it works. Love it and would buy another one if and when this one needs to be replaced.

I've had my outdoor fire bowl for two years, and it has aged very nicely. The copper looks great after many uses. The screen got roughed up quickly by the heat, but we don't use the screen very often anyway. The fire bowl is perfect for turning our urban outdoors into a campfire.

This firepit is so nice to have. I use it all the time. At first it seemed small and I thought that it would be hard to have a large fire in it but this is cartainly not true. It looks good whether it's in use or not and my neighbor is jealous. he he .
two drwabacks... the drain in the bottom is insufficient and the "waterproof" cover doesn't work so i'll sometimes have to dup mucky,ashy water out before i can use it. No big deal. I plan to make a few larger holes in order to encourage drainage.

i ordered this after reading the reviews. I was disappointed when i received it. the copper bowl isn't very large and it is very lightweight. Doesn't appear to be sturdy at all. I had it ouside for a few days before mailing it back, deciding whether to keep it or not. it became discolored just from sitting outside! I found this same item for $30 less at the hardware store over the weekend but even for that price i wouldn't buy it. i sent it back and ordered the Fierenzy instead. hoping it will be a better product.

This is a great product. It compares to just about anything I've seen for double the price or more. Looks good and does the job.

I was a little disappointed in the quality of this product and the fact that it had no grate or tools to handle hot wood or to remove the screen. Shortly after purchasing this, I saw comparable models at the local lumber yard that had all these things and were priced $20.00 less than this one. Also, the opening in the bottow which is suppose to drain rain water doesn't. Apparently the top surface of this is higher than the bottom so allows a certain amount of water to remain. The bowl has to be turned on it's side to drain.
