I've had problems in recent years with fit of Halloween costumes bought on-line or in stores. Most have been far smaller than advertised. This costume was a welcome change. I'm 5'6'', weigh 135 pounds, and the size large of the Gothic Vampira Elite costume fit very well. I may have been okay with a medium but I'm broad in the shoulders and find it's often best to go a little larger in sizing because of it. Anyway, construction is good and the costume is lovely. I do agree with some other reviewers about the underskirt - it's a mite scratchy, so you'll want another layer underneath.

I was really surprised at how nice the costume was. I have rented and purchased in the past and frankly this is as nice a quality as I have seen. It even came in a garmet bag. I searched pretty extensively to find something that was fun yet more conservative than the route that many halloween costumes have gone which is a bit stripperish. I normally wear a size 12 and I ordered the XL and it fit great. [...] I recommend this purchase. My husband got the Deluxe Gothic vampire costume and it was equally impressive and we coordinated.

I love this costume. I was very worried about the size but when it came in I tried it on and it fit perfect! Just one bit of info that may or may not matter to you though. The satin which seemed to look very red or more of a true red on the model and packaging label is actually more of a burgandy also there is not a zipper on the back of mine but was still able to get it on with ease. Overall this is an awesome costume! I cant wait for halloween!
