5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent value for some wonderful toys!
It is what it says on the box! You get all eleven versions of the Doctor (well, the canon versions, anyhow, but how could would it be to have the Cushing, Atkinson, Shakala and Unbound Doctors issued as toys?), complete with various accessories (though the Sixth Doctor gets nothing). You also get a nifty box that has biographical information on each of the Doctors. It...

2.0 out of 5 stars Dr who
I'm not going to okay with these figures. I bought them with the purpose of collecting them. I enjoy looking at them through the box while reminiscing orwatching previous dr who episodes with the different doctors

It is what it says on the box! You also get a nifty box that has biographical information on each of the Doctors. It displays nicely, too.

But if you're like me, you didn't buy this for collector's value (and why would you? Everyone is. It won't be worth anything for ages). No, I bought it to open and fiddle around with. I must say I was impressed by the figures. They're quite durable and amazingly well detailed. A friend of mine looked at them and said that if all the saw were the heads out of context, he'd know who they are.

As another reviewer pointed out, correctly, buying these in this set are far cheaper than buying them separately and given that I don't think you can get the Eighth Doctor on his own, this is certainly the way to go. At the price I paid for this, it clocks in at a bit under twelve bucks per figure, and that's a good deal.

All in all, a great value for some great figures!

5.0 out of 5 stars All Eleven....Well, done, Doctor., February 3, 2011

All I have to say is....thank Gallifrey...or at least the new series of Doctor Who for the influx of Time Lord memorablia. Bear in mind, you are dealing with a person who scoured Edinburgh, Glasgow, and most regions of the UK for DW stuff...unfortunately, it was a dry spell for the series. Sylvester McCoy's incarnation of the Seventh Doctor had folded his parasol and walked into the sunset with Ace. I did, however, manage to find a few police boxes to be photographed with....most in sad shape, sadly.

But now...with Eccleston, Tennant, and now Smith....I have Flight Control Tardises, sonic screwdrivers, remote control Daleks, and an awesome remote control K-9. I must admit, however, I balked on the action figure line of the series. Some were well detailed (aliens and Doctors were usually good)...but some just lacked any sort of resemblance to the actor.

Now, with the release of this incredible box set, I am pleased to say that my previous stumbling block has been removed. It's simply brilliant...fantastic...all eleven Doctors in a Tardis-shaped box. The figures are incredibly detailed and are spot on likenesses.

And...frankly, they are a value. At 100 dollars roughly for the set....well, you do the math. You couldn't go out and get these figures separately for that. And the addition of the eighth regeneration....wow. Paul McGann was definately a high point for my purchase of this set.

So....go out and get it. It is a beautifully presented and executed labor of love to all fans of the Doctor, new and old. And, hey...that's why I gave it a high educational value...it might get some of the newer fans to go back and learn why so many of us has loved this show for so long.

Allons-y!

Just bought this today at the local store and was lucky to find (they only had 2, now they have 1).

For the sheer collect-ability buy this. For value for money it is also amazing as each figure is cheaper than buying separate. An amazing set and what will be a highly sought after item. Ignore at your own peril whovians.

For any fans of Doctor Who this is a great set. It is a good way to have something form all the eras of Doctor Who the Doctors themselves are detailed and look like they did on TV. It is a must buy.

I was watching Doctor Who DVDs over the holidays and decided this would be the perfect fit for the spot on the bookshelf over the videos. Considering I haven't bought an action figure for myself in 25 years and I had a gift card to burn I suppose it was time. ;-) They're actually pretty well detailed and look remarkably close to the original actors. The one that seems most "off" to me is John Pertwee, but theat's because of his costume coloring not the facial features. The costume coloring that could be "off" is Colin Baker's, but alas it's pretty much spot-on. ;-) The only downside is the box resembles the TARDIS but one of those "Flight Control" units popping up on the recommendations list would look a lot better next to them.

5.0 out of 5 stars 11 Doctors Action Figures, January 8, 2012
By
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Character Options Doctor Who 11 Doctors Action Figure Collector Set (Toy)
These action figures are excellent! Each figure's face and costume is highly detailed and realistic. Even the action figures' height looks accurate (e.g. Jon Pertwee's figure is taller than Patrick Troughton.) Each figure is also very poseable. Most figures arms swivel at the shoulder, swivel at the forearm, bend at the elbow and swivel at the wrist. Most figures waist swivels, thigh swivels, and knee bends. Nearly all come with an accessory item:

Doctor #1: comes with a cane
Doctor #2: comes with a recorder
Doctors #3-5, 8-11: comes with an individualized sonic screwdriver
Doctor #7: comes with a question-mark umbrella

The outfits do not come off, but they are not too stiff, which provides some extra movement in posing them. Doctor #4's scarf does not come off, but can be moved around a little. I do, however, have a few complaints:

Doctor #4: Hat and scarf do not come off.
Doctor #5: Does not have his Panama hat
Doctor #7 Has no hat.
Doctor #10: Has his glasses and coat but neither come off.

The price comes to about $13 a figure. Although I have minor quibbles about these figures, the detail is remarkable; someone took a lot of time and energy designing these figures. They are a wonderful product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing set!, August 6, 2011
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Character Options Doctor Who 11 Doctors Action Figure Collector Set (Toy)
These figures are all great. They look EXACTLY like who they're supposed to be. The screwdrivers are easy to lose, though. I've lost the Fourth Doctor's screwdriver. Also, don't drop them (obviously). I dropped my Ninth Doctor figure and he got some skidmarks on his head. Overall, if you like Doctor Who, and you don't have a few of the Doctors, (if you don't have this set, then you don't have the Eighth Doctor) then get this set. It's worth the money, a lot cheaper than buying them all seperately.

These figures are exactly what I was after. They're very high detail and quite recognizable. I'm very pleased.

All pieces arrived as advertized (even the individual sonic screwdrivers, which some other users had mentioned problems with). Shipping was fast and painless, product arrived undamaged.

Since these are technically "kids toys" I'm guessing most won't know the first 7 or 8 Doctors. Which is understandable, but buying these accurate representations of the action figures will allow you to teach your kids about the great Doctor's who appeared in the 60's, 70's and 80's. They are very durable and can lead to hours upon hours of fun. Personally, I love the third Doctor's appearance the most, which is hard to say because they all look so great.
