Review
Don't sell yourself short - don't settle. There is someone out there for everyone. They may not have what society deems perfect - movie star good looks, an overflowing bank account, or an elite circle of friends, but more importantly; they'll make you laugh, feel safe and share your values. Go with your gut, not what everyone else tells you! --Trista Sutter of The Bachelorette
I found The Character of True Intimacy to be a very thorough, very enlightening book. Anyone (man or woman) who is single or is going through a less-than-perfect relationship should read this book! It gives real-life suggestions and ideas from real-life women. Their situations will sound familiar to many of us who have struggled to find a meaningful relationship. I especially liked the Relationship Realities and Research sections. It really showed how many good (and bad) things are shared by all relationships. This is a very informative and enjoyable read! ----M. Becker, Pharm.D.
I've always said the best advice comes from someone who has what you want... Using that litmus test, the book, The Character of TRUE INTIMACY, is a gold mine. Gayla Wick collected the stories of real women who were happy, and in love in a monogamous relationship with a man they truly treasure. She listened to their stories and found the golden thread of truth running through all of those stories that helped these women attract beautiful and loving men into their lives. If you are searching for the love of your life, you will benefit from the wisdom on these pages.
The Relationship Realities section of the book held many fantastic insights. --EJ Thornton, author Angel On Board
