...if I was under 5 feet tall. It fit okay, but the top was so short, the costume's waist was about 6 inches higher than my waist. How they got it to be anywhere near her natural waist in the picture is beyond me.

I did a lot of research before purchasng this costume. I looked at several other "barmaid" costumes and this one seemed like the best deal of the ones that I liked. I did purchase a seperate "petitcoat" (crinolin underskirt) to go with this but ended up not wearing it. I saw a lot of people review similar costumes and talk about how "cheaply" they were made. These are costumes..made to wear for a few hours, hence a lot cheaper than buying an authentic german outfit. It looks pretty much how it does in the picture. Keep in mind you may want to take it out of the packaging and hang it on a hanger a couple of days before you wear it so the wrinkles fall out. Overall I was satified with this costume.
