The tag says up to 4T, but that's not true at all. My son is two, fits into 3T clothing, and this BARELY fit him (it was short around ankles and arms).
I used it as the base costume for Ming Ming duck, his favorite character from Wonder Pets. It worked well enough when I added the extra pieces (and orange socks to make up for the lack of cover). Didn't use the hat (as it's ridiculous looking).
So if you want to use it for a child above a 2T, get a much, MUCH larger size.

The only thing I did not like was that some people thought it was a chicken, but it was still adorable. It did not fall apart and was the perfect size for my 21 month old. Since the weather was cold, there was enough room to have clothes on underneath so he could stay warm.
