This is a wonderful powerful, and sturdy grill. It is great for smoking because of the tall lid, and ease of use with misquite. The themometer is accurate and comes in handy for telling you when the grill is ready. Thermos makes this same model (its the Thermos QuickSet EvenFlame 40,000 BTU grill, except it is discontinued, so Char Broil took over. Exact same design, different logo. I got the Thermos discontinued model at Target (not online, but at the store) for 150. That's almost 100 dollars cheaper. Anyway, this is a highly recommended grill, especially if you can get your hands on the cheap ones!
