Bought these and found out the hard way that they are terrible quality compared to the 100 pack (of perfectly straight) 12" bamboo skewers that you can pick up in a very popular retail store for $1...that's correct, only $1. These ones on Amazon are very skinney compared to in store ones, and half of them are crooked.

I feel jipped, will never buy them online again, now that I know they are much cheaper/better quality in store.

There isn't very much you can say about bamboo skewers. They either hold the meat, veggies, seafood, etc. in place or they don't. These skewers from Charcoal Companion did just that, and none of them caught fire either. I've used these sticks for a number of shish kabob recipes and haven't lost one yet to the flames. All you really need to do is soak the skewers you plan to use in water for at least twenty minutes and you should have no problems with them.

These particular skewers maintain their shape (no curling or cracking) even while being used on a very hot grill. There's no "woody" taste to the food either after cooking on these skewers.

Overall, a darn fine choice for anyone planning to grill shish kabobs. Flame on!

Hey for the price I loved these things. Bought a ton for use in the upcoming tailgate season. I would buy again. The 10-inch size was a must-buy for me as they fit a container I have for tailgating and the 'regular' 12 inch skewers do not, so I am very happy to get this quantity and at this price, plus it was Amazon Prime eligible, always a bonus.

I bought these skewers to put in the garden to keep the neighborhood stray cats from laying on my plants. It seems to do the trick. I'm sure they are good for cooking too :-)

Want to see your guests surprised. Serve them little skewers of tasty morsels to de-skewer and enjoy. Try lots of dips like for a fondue.

I bought this to use on my chocolate fountain and food stays on this pretty well and under certan circumstances are reuseable so after I tested out the sticks and liked it I bought one more.The shipping is fairly fast but could be faster but good for the money.

I ordered the 10" of this product and it arrived right on time when I needed it with no delays. I like the size and the lenght is long enough to be used for multiple applications. And yes, the price is worth it.

These sticks are long enough to be used for multiple applications. I use them to dress my turkeys and chickens. You only need a couple of them to do the job. The pointed end is very sharp and they don't break as easily as toothpicks. Great value!

I actually ordered these sticks to use in candlemaking, to tie the wicks to when waxing them (homemade wicks). They were outstanding for that, I would not, however, recommend these for food, as they are extremely short for that.

Needed skewers for the chocolate fountain I bought on here and these worked great. Nothing like a bunch of little one's dipping fruit in chocolate and slinging it around the kitchen. Oooops...guess next time I need to show them how to properly use a choc fountain before I walk into the next room leaving them unattended. LOL
Good purchase, since the party of over 20 used their sticks more than once (no double dipping though) we had a lot left over. Can't beat the price either. More expensive at the local grocery store.
