This metal fish basket securely holds a whole salmon or tender trout filets wrapped in foil, which can then be turned over without falling apart. When the tong-style handle is removed, the basket can be left on the grill with the cover closed for slow smoking or steaming. At 20-1/2 by 8-1/2 by 2-1/2 inches, the basket holds a good-size catch. Fish basket is sturdy. Large size great for grilling whole fish. Removable handle is great because you can close the grill completely. I do use it and am happy with it.
