Neat kitchen tool but it will NOT take the heat of a gas grill. Two of the four probes stopped working after first use.

It came and was what I expected. I ordered two sets as I usually cook 7 or 8 steaks at a time.
I have used it twice. The first time the steaks were a little more rare than what I wanted the second time they were perfect. Good product. I recommend it.

I bought this unit in an attempt to solve the problem of cooking prime steaks, on my gas grill, to the right level of doneness.... I like my steaks done medium rare and as you know, it is a challenge to "time" cook because of various steak thickness and grill temperatures....This product was inexpesive and I thought it was worth a try.... I am pleasantly surprised how well it works....used it several times and I am very pleased with its performance....

I have used the the product twice since it arrived. Both times the steaks turned out perfect. Maneuvering the wires were a little tricky at first, but not a deal breaker. Good product.

I had this on my wish list and received it as a gift, but the product didn't work right out of the box. I installed a brand new battery and, after it seemed to be working for a few seconds, the screen went blank. I had all sorts of trouble getting it to read anything, and after a few minutes it refused to turn on at all.

This thermometer felt cheap the minute I took it out of the box. Amazon was kind enough to let me return the defective item for a refund since it's not worth trying a replacement. Don't waste your time on this.

I just got finished cooking a tri-tip. I found out that I needed to cook it a little more. At least the one station that I tested worked OK. I JUST WISH THE PROBES WERE MADE TWICE AS LONG. ITS HOT IN THERE.

The first time I used this item two of the probes stopped working. If you use all four probes at once, it is a nightmare trying to keep then untangled and not get burned. A temperature probe or fork is a better way to go.

I gave these to my son-in-law for Xmas and he loves them! Gives the cook more confidence when cooking steaks and everyone gets theirs done just right too! Very easy to use.
