Gas grills are considered by many to be the most convenient way to grill but unfortunately this usually means giving up great smoky flavor for convenience. The charcoal companion smoker box features a v-shape bottom which allow it to sit between the flame deflector bars of most gas grills. This positions the smoke right beneath the food grate for the most intense smoke flavor. Durable, nonstick coated metal smoker box has hinged lid and is reusable. Add wood chips of your flavor choice and place between the flame deflector bars on the gas grill. (wood chips not included)

I've had a Weber Genesis Gas Grill for some time now and I'm quite happy with it. However, there is one thing you will never get on a gas grill that you get when cook over charcoal - that great smokey taste. Viewed this in Amazon a couple of times and decided to try it out. Not much to say, except that it works as advertised. Fit right in-between the V-bars of my Weber, no problem. It puts out a tremendous amount of smoke once it gets going. I was really surprised how much of a smokey flavor it imparts to what you're cooking. Just follow the instructions and you're all set.

Smoker box arrived sooner than expected and I used it the next day. I cooked a pork picnic roast with the skin on and the addition of the box and Hickory chips added a wonderful smoke flavor to the meat. Along with my secret rub the 7 LB roast was so good that there was only about 14 ounces left for tacos tonight. My kids raved about the flavor of the meat and how tender and moist it was. This item turned my three burner gas grill into a great smoker. I would recommend this smoker box to anyone as it is well made and easy to use...

This smoker box is great for the four burner type grills. Slides beneath the grate wonderfully. Easy to clean. I wish I had gotten the larger size. Again if this is the size you are looking for it will not dissappoint.

Does the job, but getting rusty.
The nonstick coating doesn't last. One season and the box is starting to show signs of rust. Doesn't really stop the functionality of the box. Read more

Works ok but can't refill for extending grilling
