the skycharger b6ac+ is a bargain. it is extremely well made, performed flawlessly and has a built in ac supply.

it handled everything i threw at it, lipo, nimh, nicad and a 12v gel cell. it's not often you get something that exceeds your expectations but i was pleasantly surprised with this find. plus you get a whole bunch of quality connectors and included in the price is the optional temp probe and the usb kit (you download the software from the xheli website) which allows you to gauge battery parameters. my only quibble is you have to read the manual, it's not overly complicated but the charger has a few quirks that need to be explained. for example to switch from manual to auto in the nicad mode you press the two status buttons simultaneously (that would not have been my first choice for intuitiveness). but all in all an excellent charger at a very reasonable price. highly recommended.

Terrific charger! As an "advanced" RC modeler - this charger has these beneficial features: ability to display battery performance curves on a PC and adjustable discharge voltage setting. Main use of charger is for LiPo batteries. Very nice piece of gear.

I really like this charger and it works like a charm for all my NiCd, NiMh and LiPos (have not charged anything else). For the Lipos, it has all I need (and more), the modes are discharge-charge, charge-discharge, charge, , quick charge, balance charge, discharge, hold charge. And on top of the backlit display (very nice to read) that has several screens to display the current status it comes with a USB interface and a temperature sensor (only one of these can be hooked up at a time - no idea why they tried to save 10 cents in development and did not put in two ports...). The menu is quite large, but the manual is pretty good (get the pdf if you can not read the small printed manual...) and easy to use with the 4 buttons on the charger.

The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that there is no software (you have to download it from [...]) and the LiPo connectors are missing (google for SHI-W001). Besides that, I wish it had a few charging ports more ;-)) but for that price it is the best charger I have.

Fully charged 8000mah 2s Lipo in about one and half hour, it has the optional temperature sensor, but no deans or traxxas charge leads, only tamiya type, also USB port is the temp-sensor port, so you can't watch your temps while connected to a PC, but it still a perfect charger and well priced, 5 stars..

this is a great charger it charge all type of batterys for any rc stuff just remember the higher the volts and the midamps the longer it takes.

The charger has an attractive price and features but I have not been able to find the balancing connector for Thunder power batteries. I emailed the merchant and have not got any response. It is shown in the manual but I need to find one. Can't give a good review because I have not been able to use the charger the way I expected to.

this is a good charger/balancer. it woks well just not as intuitive as it could be. over all a great value.

I Found an alternative product in stock from Xheli but do not trust.
Will not likley place another order with this Xheli.

Since that time I have ordered the alternative item form another vendor (not Amazon connected).

Overall I am only slightly dissatisfied as I know things like this happen however more warning would have been helpfull.

As soon as I start to charge my battery, I get a message: "BREAK DOWN"
Fresh out of the box and it already sucks.
I want my money back!
