OK. It's my fault. I thought I could get away with an $8.22 charger. (The charger "costs" $2.14, but the mailing "cost" is $6.08.). I'm here to warn you: Don't do it!
BEWARE: The little charger connector lacks the fine construction of your cell phone and takes some force just to make contact. I should NEVER have bought a cheap charger for my elegant $284 Motorola Z9! Bottom line: It doesn't work. I tried it in 3 cars and it doesn't charge. The red `working' light goes on but nothing happens. So I went to RadioShack and, for $29.00, bought a beautifully designed charger and got a $10 custom cell connector tip for free. I'm buying another tip for my husband's Blackberry so we can use the same charger. And now I don't have to force a cheap connector into my phone! It's a perfect item, beautifully engineered. |
