I bought this product and it didn't work right out of the box for my GPS system. I will say that this company has great customer service, they promtly refunded the money to me with out any hassle what so ever. I had to order the cord through manufacturer and it works perfectly. After market parts are cheaper but not better or even compatible.

The product was delivered timely. However, I don't know why the the charger does not work for my TomTom One? Now I don't know what to do with this item?

This is the exact item I needed. I am always leary to order electronic replacement parts on the internet but this one was right on !!!

Purchased this power cable as an extra to carry in my second car. Mini-USB plug fits fine, and green pilot light goes on when plugged into lighter socket. Seemed fine. Used the Tom-Tom (XL 350-TM) for several weeks, switching between cars (and cables). This morning, after several short trips with the aftermarket cable, Tom-Tom displayed dead battery icon. I assume that when the Charger City cable was in use, the Tom-Tom was running on a residual charge, since the trips were rarely over 45 minutes. Fortunately I had the OEM cable with me, and when I replaced the Charger City cable with it, the GPS began to charge and worked fine. Later tests showed that when the OEM cable is first connected, the GPS displays a "connected" message. With the Charger City cable, it does not acknowledge the connection. NOTE: I just discovered that the acknowledgment message when the OEM cable is connected refers to the "Traffic" module. The OEM cable has an oval gizmo in the charger line that receives traffic info where available. There seems to be NO acknowledgment that the external power connection is actually charging the unit. Can only deduce that since the battery ran down while the aftermarket cable was connected, that it does not work. I will now search for an OEM cable for the second car. Big disappointment.

This charges my XXL350TM, but does not provide the traffic updates that the original charger did. If you have a non-traffic model, it should work fine.

For the low price it is a good worth product. Works perfectly i have been using it now for 2 weeks, nothing wrong with it.


I have recently changed my car and it does not work for the European version Saab 9-3. It just dose not fit the cigarette hole.

Cable is sturdy, when plugged into the cig socket in your car, it is a nice and tight fit. Cord is long enough for simple applications. I lost the OEM charging cable, and this is just like the OEM! Can't go wrong!
