Don't think you're getting something inferior here just because it's cheap. This is the same thing you'd get at an inflated price same quality without breaking the bank. Works perfectly for my Samsung Magnet.

While yes, it was cheap and yes it did connect to my computer and charge. It did not do the one thing I needed, sync up with my computer. Don't know if mine was defective (I do actually know what I am doing). Purchased another off brand cable from another source and it works great- just plug and go. Did ship quickly.

it worked the first 2 weeks, now its saying i need the driver for it, but it didnt come with one. cant find it online either. only thing its good for is charging my phone

I bought this cable thinking it would allow me to download pictures from my phone to my computer. However after getting the cable, going through hours of searching for the driver, I find it will only charge the battery, and it is not usable to download pictures or do anything except use the phone as a dial up modem.
I was disappointed with the product. I would like to have known that it was simply for charging or using as a dial up modem.

For the price it is no big deal but I found that I could not make my Samsung SHG-A-697 cell phone sync with my PC and found out through Samsung's Tech line that it is not compatible with Windows 7. The software that is to be downloaded to make this phone and cable work is PC Studio which is a free download at Samsung on-line, but it does later (after the download) let you know it is not compatible with Windows 7.

Again, I'm not complaining about this seller; you cannot beat the price and my order came through quickly and professionally. I'm sure I'll use the wire in the future somewhere.

I received the item promptly and it worked as I expected. I would recommend this vendor very highly. Thanks for the convenience of ordering such items as I was unable to find them in any electronic store.

Purchased Oriongadgets Sync & Charge USB Cable for Samsung Solstice A887 from ACC Stop. Never receive the product. Tried to track the package using the provided tracking number, it turns out to be a fake tracking number. Purchased many things from Amazon before. This is my first bad experience. Do not purchase anything from this vendor. This product is awesome. It's handy to always keep one in my bookbag for emergency cell phone charging (Always on the road with a laptop). The downside? I lost it. Will have to order another one soon.

The cable worked as advertised. It linked with my computer. I was not able to transfer my pictures to my computer from my cell phone because my cellular service did not support this feature without additional charges, but that was not the fault of the cable.

I paid 1 cent for it (plus 1.99 shipping), but this sync cable failed expectations.
It did not sync my Samsung A177 to my computer, I tried EVERYTHING (different computers, restoring phone, Samsung PC Studio), but it always resulted in fail.
It does charge the phone, but that's it.
Perhaps its just my phone, perhaps it's the A177 in general, maybe it was a faulty cable..just be warned, it might not work.

But at $2, who's really complaining?
