This 16 year old girl has one of the greatest female voices EVER. Her voice has amazing maturity for such a young performer. Her vocal performances are flawless and emotional. She really makes you feel the music. CHECK HER OUT!

I have been waiting for Charice's DVD too, she gives me goosebumps while listening to her. Now I could listen to her without surfing the utube. She sing the songs better than the original artists. Thank you Oprah and David Foster!!!!!!!!

Charice is a young, Filipino girl who was discovered by Ellen DeGeneres and brought to the US to perform. She has since achieved incredible popularity in Asia, Europe, and America.

Her voice is deep, strong, and sounds like that of someone with decades of stage experience--not a near-child from a poor, Philippine family. If you haven't heard Charice, you are missing a fantastic experience.

A voice that is out of this world.
She is a Godsend that touches the hearts of people.

It should be noted this "debut" CD was produced in the Philippines by Charice local label, Star Records. Of course, her vocal prowess and emotional delivery is here but as a first effort and at 6 tracks, it lacks something. Consider it as an EP introduction to Charice. (Anyone remember "EP" records?

Be assured, that "something" will be in attendance on Charice International Debut CD which she is in the process of recording in the US.

Writers and Producers from around the world are working with her to produce the most amazing CD possible. The tracks will range from R&B spectaculars to more edgy Pop and Fresh House sounds.

Keep listening, Charice has only just begun.

I love her voice and personality. Her cd is awesome. I bought her mp3 album from ITunes and all the 6 tracks and 6 instrumentals,are sounds very great and I feel Charice is singing next to me when I started playing them on my ITunes player.

I saw her perform on the DVD for David Foster's PBS special. He said she is 15 years old. What a powerful voice! Her renditions of the songs on this album are as good as the original artists. She'll only get better as she gets older.

Ah the sweetness of this young girl is readily apparent from the moment you hear her voice which is of such an incredible range and maturity that you will be astounded to discover that she is just 16... Her voice is warm, sultry and flows like honey over ones' senses... her phrasing and lyrical playfulness with many of the notes and melodies are refreshing and makes her all the more appealing... when I'm listening to her with goosebumps igniting my soul, I can easily visualize her skipping and dancing through a Springtime meadow as she sings so easily and with such heartfelt emotion... Charice is here to stay and will be a voice we will be listening to for many decades to come... Brava!

The only thing missing from this album is applause after each and every song! She is phenomenal. Whereas with some young women (especially teenagers) singing love songs, there is a thinness to their voices that reveals their youth and makes the themes of the songs unbelievable; this is not so with Charice! It is as if she is channeling an older, wiser, more experienced woman who has loved and lost and loved again!

Chances are some of your favorite love songs from the 90's and early 2000's are featured here...it's a keeper!

Charisse Pempengco is a unique very talented singer. Her voice could affect your emotion. She could make the audience cry while singing a sad song. Her debut album was very disappointing though because half of the materials in the album was made for Kareoke fans. The album was produced by cheap and greedy producers who probably decided not to spend more money for more songs so they used sing-a-long instrumental as filler. This album is not recommended for international release. Just load the songs from amazon.com and leave the instrumental part.
