This book is older,but still relavent. It was easy to read too! MacArthur doesn't attack Charasmatics,but rather shows the error of their doctrine in a biblical light,and in the last chapter he even compliments some aspects of the Charasmatic movement such as the music and leadership. He tells the story of a Jewish convert whom MacArthur disciples for a while but then goes to a Charasmatic church,not becacue of doctrinal differences but because the Charasmatic church was warmer and friendlier. It's about 210 pages and I got my copy for a dollar so it was well worth the time and money spent.

Now we know why the Baptists will be in heaven first...

The "dead" in Christ shall rise FIRST.

(I saw that on someone else's review and just had to use it)

Just because miracles, signs and wonders have ceased (or never existed in the first place) in John MacArthur's church, doesn't mean that they ceased for the rest of us. God is still confirming His Word with signs following! I've seen hundreds of miracles and healings.. and I've heard testimonies of people being raised from the dead after being dead for over 6 hours!
