I adore this pocket watch. I had been looking for several months at local stores and never could find exactly what I was look for. Found this on good ole amazon and decided to give it a go. I havnt looked back yet. I am always complimented on what a beautiful piece it is. As long as i remember to wind it in the mornings it keeps time wonderfully. The only real downside is that if you want to put a picture in it you have to look at the back of the picture paper as well. Wish it had come with a silver cover to accent the beauty of the watch. However, beyond that one downside its perfect.

This is my first pocket watch. After extensive review I decided on this one (I love the two-tone). The watch has a solid feel to it. It looks nice and gets plenty of compliments. Mechanically the watch is sound. For mechanicals/price you cannot beat the movement on this watch. The old railroad watches were required to keep time within 30 seconds per week; this does not meet that standard, never-the-less, it does keep good time; on the order of 5 to 8 seconds per day. If you think that is bad, please note that that equates to a 99.98% accuracy (rounded to the hundredths). I am a stickler on watch accuracy, but owning a mechanical that keeps time to within +/- 1 minute PER WEEK has a sense of pride to it that a typical quartz cannot produce.

I highly recommend this watch to anyone with a pallet for both character, and personal nostalgia.

This is a well made, Fun watch. It's accurate and somewhat easy to read. It's my eyes' , Not the watch's problem.

Only drawback is that you have to wind it daily. But it is a Mechanical see-thru, that's why you are buying it , right?

Well priced for it's enjoyment value. If you like to see what's going on inside, you'll be happy.

This one is worth it too. At least to me...:) It's a little bigger and more open. Different "Seconds" mechanism.

The packaging was impressive, the design is stunning and it was a great gift for my younger brother's birthday. He's a watch enthusiast and this is his first pocket watch. I was very happy with his reaction and the entire party oohed and ahhed over this absolutely stunning timepiece that will be an heirloom for his family.

Well i bought this watch from the great reviews. After not even a month one of the pins for the "Stand" has fallen out. i love the watch but now i really worry about the craftsmanship =(

This was a wonderful gift to my husband for Christmas. He's the kind of guy that likes to see how things work so I wanted to get something classy and unique. With this pocket watch he got just that. It's see through from both sides of the watch. You can see the moving parts. Also, he doesn't like things that are solid silver or gold so the two-tone watch makes it stand out from most. It's a very beautiful wind-up pocket watch, not battery operated. This was his very first pocket watch and he absolutely loves it! I will recommend this item to others. He took his present to work yesterday and received lots of compliments. He was able to have it propped up on his desk since it has a little kick stand built in. He likes to show it off. It's a grand gift that any guy would like!

I will be brief....buy this pocket watch if you are looking for an awesome product that is beautiful and functional. I can't stop looking at it. Worth every penny and then some. I have not placed a photo on the front cover, but it will work if that is what you want to do. I just don't want to cover up the beauty of the watch.
