It's amazing how different people see things differently. The cluttered and overdone look of Charles Faudree is precisely what I adore about his decorating style. The fact that he can put so many things into a room and it still be comfortable and charming is the mark of a master. Actually, I thought this book tended away slightly from the maximum "stuff" of his other previous books. His use of color in this era of drab neutral everything is refreshing and sharp and in many of the rooms in this book, negated the need for so many accessories.

I found this book to be exactly on par with Charles Faudree's earlier books - his use of saturated color, grand rooms with a charming and cozy feel, lucious fabrics, accessories of beauty and occasional whimsy - all his signature work is there. Gorgeous photography as always and I love the shots of rooms from above and the format of 'sketches' of rooms preceding the actual photos. And, as always, his beloved dog is in many of the room photos - not because he was placed there but because he loves to be in the thick of things! If you have enjoyed Charle's previous books, you will love this one too. I find myself picking it up again and again.

I have all of his books, and am a big fan.....but something is "off" about this one. Most of the interiors seem contrived, stuffy, and a little outdated. The warmth and charm of the usual "Faudree mix" has been, for the most part, replaced with rooms that have all the banal originality and personality of a hotel lobby or furniture showroom. Skip this one!

This is a great book, lots of photos and great ideas. I have all of Charles Faudrees design books, I am never disappointed. I loved seeing his home featured on " Home Acress America".

I was disappointed in the rooms pictured in this book. They seem to be cluttered and overdone. There was not the unique, charming, perfect sense of proportion and pleasing to the eye style that usually represents Faudree's work. This book does not come close to his first two books.

I loved Charles Faudree last interior design book and think he is one my best loved designers,this is the 3rd book I've bought. Having said that though a little disappointed in this one. Too many plates on the walls... not his best work.

This book is full of wonderful ideas for all homes big and small! A beautifully executed book that would look great on any coffee table as well

Faudree's books are always a feast for the eyes. You can see his animals are part of his family and right at home, too. I look forward to many more books. Thank you, Mr Faudree, for sharing your artist's eye with us.

This is my favorite collection of photos of Charles Faudree's work. He has a way of making even large grand spaces seem cozy, warm and charming. I have all his books in my collection of design and home decorating books. My personal style over the years has become a little less accessorized and less colorful than Mr Faudree's designs, but I still admire his style and he continues to inspire me.

The book was received in a reasonable time.
Over all the book was in great condition. There is a slight bend at the bottom front of the front hard cover.
Since I am having Charles sign the book I was a bit disappointed.
