Charles the true Christian,
By Shane (Portland, OR USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Charles Finney: El hombre que origino un avivamiento que cambio el curso de la historia (Spanish Edition) (Paperback)
Charles Finney never denied justification by faith. He simply said that saving faith would always produce good works, but you are justified by faith alone. He also never denied the doctrine of election, and instead of being a man-centered gospel Finney insisted that the only appropriate motivation for a spirit filled life is devotion to God, regardless of any reward for yourself. If you believe that Christians are not required to live holy lives, but can go on sinning indefinitely without regard to their savior and Lord, then don't read this book. It will challenge you and push you toward a more Godly life. Please read this book, Charles Finney has a had tremendously wonderful affect on my life....
