I bought this watch for my father because I really liked the old fifty cent pieces shown in the picture. However, once I received the watch it was evident that the actually quality of the coins in the watch is extremely poor. I wouldn't give this watch as a gift to anyone. The picture I've uploaded shows the difference between the portrayed quality of the coin on the website and the actual quality you get in the watch.

UPDATE: Well, this is interesting, they've changed the watch from having a Walking Liberty half-dollar to a Kennedy half-dollar. You can still see some of the pictures of the Walking Liberty in their pictures. The other interesting part is that the pictures I upload of the poor quality of coins in the watch have been removed. Maybe because they've changed the coin and maybe because... well, I'll let you make your own determination. However, I can no longer speak to the quality of the new coin since I purchased the watch when it had the Walking Liberty half-dollar coins.

It is a great pocket watch! My Son loves it! It has a face plate to cover the hands of the watch! There are two silver dollars used in the watch!

i ordered this as a gift for my father who collects pocket watches. he loves this. this is very unique and beautiful. its also made very well. the packaging is nice as well. 5 stars.

My son wanted one of these. It looks wonderful from the quality of the coin, to the functionality of the timepiece, it is a great buy for $84.

The previous reviewer must have received an odd piece. Better try the return policy at Amazon, it is great. Stop bellyaching and swap it out.
