Not just some spam fanboy review, I waited for almost a month before I wrote this.
Pros: Beautiful silver watch Keeps good time Good size Durable (owned a month as of yet so we'll see) mildly scratch resistant (not delicate, but not made of titanium either) Price is right Mechanical pocket-watch that's easy to wind Cons (nitpicking): Sideways clock (personal thing, I prefer 12 to be at the chain) cannot view gears from the back, only from the clockhand side 4 is IIII instead of IV (again, being picky) Other thoughts: Would love to see this in a rose gold/brass color Despite the look of the pocket clip, it really does hold well A bit more in depth: The photos don't do this watch justice Outter finish is mirrored at a perfect silver tone while the inside has a circle sanded texture, the gears all seem to work in harmony as clockwork should, giving the mechanics an almost lifelike feel. Gems and screws give a touch of color in addition to the silver and brass colored gears, quartz gems flashing and the screws have a purple (at least it was on mine) protective coating making them look as if someone had stuck an amethyst shard inside of the screw-hole. Watch ticking noise is at a level where you can hear it if your ear is near it but it will not disturb you while it rests on a table or in your pocket Time keeping: I set mine to the timeclock (synced to a server) at work, this pocketwatch hasn't lost a single second as of yet (one month and continuing) Ease of winding: very easy How often to wind: no idea, I usually wind it every day but have gone almost two days without and it's kept going (not sure if that's normal or not) Method for setting time is the same pull out end pin/twist method that most non-digital watches have Comes with a manual Comes with a catalog of other pocket-watches (so you can see how expensive every other watch this company makes is (up in thousands for some)) All in all, a great watch, I'd recommend it to anyone. Even on my tight budget, I do not regret this purchase at all

This is a wonderful watch. It keeps time perfectly, and watching the pieces move is amazing. If you're considering if you should or shouldn't buy, you should buy, and do so with confidence.

Great pocket watch! I was looking for something with a skeletal face and that looked professional for under $100. I love the ticking sound, too!

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, and it was even more amazing in person. The intricacies of the working gears are truly shown once you wind up the pocket watch and see its magic in full form. The chain that comes with it is also a great length and silver. I like that the cover can be engraved if you would like to do so, and this is an incredible value. The package itself was wrapped very nicely and is well worth the value, looking like something much more expensive than what it is.

Although he's only 13, he only wanted a pocket watch to wear with his suit outfits when he got dressed up for synogogue and parties. He's feels very sophisticated when he takes out his pocket watch to tell his friends the time. We've had it a few months now and it still works and is looking good.

Nice, but unreliable?,

It's a very pretty watch, and you've got to love the visible mechanism, the audible ticking, and the beautiful finish.
With that said, my watch broke within a week of purchase and only normal use. I assume my experience is kind of an anomaly, and the replacement process has been really easy, or else I would have rated this much worse. I'd buy it again, and I recommended it, provided the thing holds together.

This watch arrived in decent time, and has a nice weight to it. The watch is of far better quality than I expected it to be for $69.00. You can't really pick up a decent basic digital watch for any less than that, let alone a well crafted mechanical pocket watch.

This product looks great, but unfortunately loses time very quickly. It can be fully wound up and still be an hour behind. I bought to wear instead of a wristwatch, but don't wear it anymore because frankly it's unreliable at keeping time. Buy yourself a chinese made Avalon and save yourself some money.
