I ordered the Sterling Silver Quartz watch and a compatable Charles-Hubert leather watch pouch because of my penchant for destroying wrist watches, their bands and band attachments. They become clobbered by my lifestyle and don't last long.

The actual watch departs somewhat from the description of the item on this page. The differences are good ones as the listed diameter of 46mm understates the actual measured diameter. By my calipers, the watch is just a bit less than 1.9 inches or 47.4 mm. Thickness comes out to .51- inch or almost 13mm. Looking at internet watch vendors, I see this particular model, #3750 is universally described as having a scratch resistant mineral crystal rather than the "plastic" listed here. The Amazon price is favorable compared to that of some of the other vendors. The pictures are perfectly representative of the details of the watch-likely a good predictor of what the item will look like as it takes on character due to the natural tendency of silver to tarnish. New, the actual watch has a much higher polish.

After a couple of days, it appears that the regulation is going to be as accurate as is expected of quarz watches.

* One month later,as anticipated, the watch is within one minute of exact time. very glad I made this purchase.
