I grew up criss-crossing America in make-up and big shoes. A third generation carny and circus performer, I was raised as a clown, acrobat and musician with shows like Johnny's United, Southland Amusements and Mississippi Valley Shows.
Most of my adult life I spent my days making art and photographs, and my nights as a Techno DJ, and radio & TV host. I finally landed at BBC Radio 1 in the early noughties. Working alongside Pete Tong, I became an Ibiza regular.
Now I tell stories and make games. I have several books - Tales of The Lobster Boy, The Fat Lady's Daughter, How to DVJ: a digital DJ masterclass, The Concise Dictionary of Freemium and Free-to-Play Game Design, and Redesigning Music. I've also created several children's books as apps, including Handmade Mother Goose, and A Bear Ate All The Brussels Sprouts. And my work on games includes The White Island, Brainzzz - Aliens vs. Zombies, Time Tremors, Anxietyville, Pigment's Playpen, and a handful of projects I can't talk about yet.
