When I first started using this hole punch, was a little disappointed to learn that it doesn't 'lock' very well--i.e., you regularly have to make sure it is properly set to standard 3 hole punch. The slider that holds the paper in proper position moves to easily. After only using infrequently for a couple of months, one of the springs has started sticking and the papers get stuck after being punched. I then have to stick scissors in to release the spring. Would NOT recommend this product.
