This is a pencil sharpener. It will assist you in sharpening your pencils. It will not sharpen them for you, just allow you to do it your self. It has two holes for different size pencils but please don't be confused, either side works. If the pencil fits in whatever hole you stick it then you are provably OK. (at least if it is one of the holes in the pencil sharpener any where else you stick it I can't be held responsible.) This sharpener will also assist you in leaving wood shavings and graphite dust all over your floor. Admittedly less then the ol' "whittle away with a pocket knife option".

This is a great item for those of you who may work at a company who is interested in being frugal, so frugal in fact that they supply you with regular pencils (not mechanical) but neglect to supply the pencil sharpeners. I am not sure what they expected. It is not like it is a place that you fear for your life so that everyone carries a knife. And that you have to look carefully around a corner to see who is coming before you venture out, sulking in shadows, hoping that you can make it to the elevator in time. No nothing like that at all. I LOVE my company and my job, really. (Wait when did this become about my work?)

In any case it is a pencil sharpener. Is works. Oh! and it is made of metal, not cheap plastic. Oh and inexpensive.

It's all metal and doesn't look like it's going to break like the cheap plastic garbage. Does a great job of sharpening without breaking the lead off.

One of the holes is for regular pencils, the other is for the larger color pencils.
The sharpener works well. A disadvantage is that it's small and you should hold it hard when you sharpen pencils. Can't argue with the price though, and the convenience to buy even such small things without having to go to the store.

If you are looking for something small to take on the job site, you will like this sharpener. But keep in mind it is small and easily lost--so you might want to buy two.

It's a great sharpener for the on the go and easy to use, however you can easily lose it at any time. It's really small so you can lose it easily.

The small hole doesn't work at all. I tried different pencils and the sharpener didn't work for all of them. I would not recommend this to anyone.
