What a revelation!
This is not a record to be reviewed; it must be listened to....and pardon please the dangling participle. Charles Neville has an unmistakable New Orleans sound that mixes jazz, blues, and even some Afro-Cuban elements. You will keep this album and from time-to-time you will reach for it and realize that it is absolutely perfect for that occasion. |
