Review

NATIONAL BESTSELLER

“It is rare for someone to infiltrate this mysterious, often romanticized world, and live to tell about it. That alone makes the book well worth reading.”
Canadian Lawyer

Charlie and the Angels is an interesting and detailed look into the history of these two gangs, and a rivalry that dates back over 60 years…. [Caine] offers a comprehensive overview of the violent biker brotherhood subculture.”
Winnipeg Free Press

Further, Outlaws do not have "Prospects," they have Probates.
Lucy PanHead
Synopsis: wasted my money on a book that's nothing more than entertaining, but dangerous in it's falsehoods.
B. Marshall
It's misleading, has little to do with the actual content of the book as a whole, and is just plain stupid.

Total bogus crap. Another attempt to cash in by an undercover stool pigeon, and this one can't even get the history right. If this guy knew what he was talking about, he would know the Angels and Outlaws have not been at war for sixty years. Mutual respect for territory on the separate coasts was honored until the 1970s. In FACT, the Outlaws and Hells Angels partied together in Chicago at least until 1969. Further, Outlaws do not have "Prospects," they have Probates. (Maybe the author is channeling SOA episodes.) It also looks like he "borrowed" a few scenarios from a recent fiction book about a probate written by a 40-year patch member. The timeline jumps all over the place, which helps conceal his scrambling for filler for this book. He tries to talk about the old times, but unless he's over eighty, he doesn't have a clue. Well, regardless of his age, he definitely doesn't have a clue. I would strongly urge people to check out the books by the true old-time one-percenters like Thor or RoadBlock if they want to know what things were REALLY like in the old days. Don't waste your money on this crap.

I actually liked his first book, but this was forced and not written well. It reads like someone wrote it in a week just to make a quick buck. It took me a month to read it and I had to force myself to finish.

Clearly this guy hates bikers. He has taken half truths and manipulated them to suit his needs. And those needs apparently are to make lots of money selling books. It's sad that the Government will probably consider him an expert and use him to lock us up. He's probably hoping hollywood will use him as a consultant on their next gangland series.

This guy testified against people and they went to prison. To read this book you will have to come to the conclusion that he perjured himself in every trial. Nothing in this book is correct: let alone true.

This is another book written by an undercover cop and wannabe Outlaw Expert ... just a pitty that ha can not evet get the simplest things right and are assuming most of his postulates....one thing which is mentioned several times is that the Gypsy Joker MC are a support club to the Outlaws MC due to the clubs are both using the same colours in their patch. This totally wrong and the auther is guessing things .. typical Cop !!
