They feel so soft and are very adjustable.

I prefer the one size diaper as they fit my daughter better but do like the Charlie Banana diapers as a whole.

I haven't had any leaks out the top, but did have a disaster pouring out of the leg holes once.

I've been cloth diapering my boy since he was a newborn and we have a supply of Bum Genius (older versions and the new 4.0), Fuzzibuns One-Size, and Charlie Banana One-size. They all work well but I really like the construction of the Charlie Banana diaper. Charlie Bananas, as people have said, are basically just like Fuzzibuns except they have an interior flap that lets you use either the cloth insert or a disposable insert (which is nice when you're out - no need to take home heavy, soggy inserts after a change). The interior of CB's is softer than the others, and the gathering at the legs (which is key for preventing leaks) just feels more sturdy. I have a couple well-used Bum Genius diapers and one of the problems is that the leg gathering starts to stretch and loosen, leaving gaps that cause leaks. The Charlie Bananas (and Fuzzibuns) let you adjust the legs to keep the leg openings snug, thus preventing leaks.

All that said, kids are shaped differently and what works for my chunky baby may not work for your stringbean. If I were a new mom just starting to cloth diaper, I'd buy one or two of each of the good ones (Bum Genius, Fuzzibuns, and Charlie Banana -- I'm not a fan of Happy Heinys) before committing to investing in just one type of diaper.

I recently switched from only using prefolds and covers to using pocket diapers. Now I understand that some people don't understand why anyone would use pocket diapers that they would have to wash the cover every time and it is less economical, but I was forced to when my son turned 8 months. He got a case of the wigglies and it has never gone away. Diaper changes became a battle of trying to get him to lay still long enough to carefully fold the prefold and then add the cover. With pocket diapers I can now put the diaper on him standing up if need be and no need to worry about two pieces instead of just one, (also the babysitter can now change him without having to resort to disposables, some people just can't get the concept of folding prefolds correctly). That said I purchased the Charlie Banana Mediums and a set of the one size. The one size is so much better. The fit is easier to adjust and I don't have any leaking problems that I do with the mediums. Actually only a few of the mediums leak but when they do it is in a big way. The legs on the mediums just don't seem to be tight enough and I have tried adjusting it a few ways to make the fit better but it ends up making the waist too tight instead. So if the choice is between the two spend the extra $10-$20 and get the one size.

Just got my set of these and I love them! I'm a Fuzzy Bunz (FB) fan but saw these and wanted to give them a try. They are very much like FB Pocket diapers except better constructed (my opinion). They have same snap system only extra snaps for overlapping. Also pocket is stuffed in the front instead of back and there is a flap over the top unlike FB which have an open end which seems to me unfinished. The fabric on these also seems a little thicker and higher quality. Sizing and fit seems to be pretty much the same as FB.

I have used cloth diapers over the years with high hopes only resulting in disappointment. After talking to another mom who has started using this 'new generation' of cloth diapers (and quite a bit of incentive from Amazon discounts), I decided to give it a try for my almost-two-year-old who is showing interest in potty training (if you care she's #4). Anyway, they fit wonderfully, and leaks are virtually non-existent. I do double at night to prevent leaks. This does make them very thick, but they don't seem to be to the point of discomfort for her. It is important to note that these are the pocket-style diapers which means the entire system will need washing. The outer part is not considered a shell, but rather it does get soiled. What a difference these have made in the area of training--she asks to sit on the potty and knows immediately when she is wet. She has also experienced less irritation in the area of rashes. I am pleased with the construction, style, fit, etc. and intend on using them exclusively on #5. If anyone from Charlie Banana ever reads these reviews, I would like to say that I would prefer another diaper in the pack in place of a couple of inserts :) Hope this helps!!

UPDATE: I have now had these diapers for about 3 years. They are on their third child and they are still doing great! The PUL is still well adhered to the fabric. The snaps are all still in place and functional. The color has held true and the liners and inserts have resisted staining.

Charlie Banana's work great! The softness of the interior and of the cloth inserts is wonderful against baby's skin--no diaper rash or skin irritation. The adjustable snaps are easy to use, decide which settings work best and even middle of the night changes are no problem (your body's on automatic mode).
I researched the best way to wash disposables and read many suggestions. What I've learned in practice is that these wash up with any type of laundry soap and haven't lost their absorbency. I tried standard laundry soap to the environmentally friendly brands. An occasional laundry load with an eight cup of bleach brightens the liners. The covers do not fade nor lose their waterproof characteristic in the wash. The cloth liners are good for heavily soiled or wetness.
I'm glad I made the leap to cloth diapers with our third child.
