Following the announcement, Charlie talks to former Republican congressman, former cabinet secretary and former candidate for president Jack Kemp to analyze the effect this will have on Dole's campaign for the presidency and on the election as a whole. Then, Charlie continues the conversation about Bob Dole with Fred Barnes, executive editor of The Weekly Standard, Republican strategist Ed Rollins and Jacob Weisburg, political correspondent for New York Magazine. Finally, a conversation with comedian Paul Reiser who is the creater and star of the hit NBC series Mad About You alongside Helen Hunt.
