ignore the above, kids
this is a great sheet music collection! it's a good thing that it is made "simple" so that kids--also big fans of shultz's work, remember?--who develop even a modicum of piano-playing skills can access their favorite charlie brown songs as well. i know my daughter loves it...

Know what you're getting
This is a book for DUETS, not single players, and while a beginner can do the lead part, the accompaniment requires at least an intermediate level player. It's good, but it doesn't work as a book for a single player. The description should make this clear.

I ordered this book mainly to learn Linus and Lucy for my husband. The sheet music is great, however it is for the slightly advanced piano player. This is not for beginners.

I bought this for my 9 year old son. He has been taking piano for a couple of years and is between a level 1 and 2 in most piano books. This book has great songs in it, but is not easy.

Hal-Leonard has 5 different books called "The Charlie Brown Collection" and this one is supposed to be the most difficult. It's still easy and simplified; a lot different of what we are used to listen (David Benoit playing, for example). It's disapointing...
