Thoughts from a hard-core Peanuts fan....,

Always enjoyable Schulz material, although I could have done without the Abbott and Costello-like football diatribe between Marcie and Pepermint Patty. And once again, Charlie Brown is duped into trying to kick the football for Lucy. The opening segment is quite funny as Peppermint Patty tries in vain to get a gold star on her paper, and has Snoopy go under cover as a student while "Hans Hansen" finds out who took the gold stars. Finally Charlie Brown tries to place his managerial skills tothe test with Lucy in the baseball game. Charlie Brown watches as Lucy gets her first-ever single, and watches even more in vain as Lucy will not slide while trying to steal second! "In my desinger jeans? "
