The Charlie Doll (that we named Eliot), is so beautifully handcrafted. It came neatly packaged and just as described.
The first time my 1 year old laid eyes on him, I knew they would be good pals. He absolutely adores this doll.
The doll is well made, durable, and cute beyond belief. I highly recommend the Camden dolls.

This doll was purchased due to it's slightly smaller size, which is perfect for little ones. However, the same day it was purchased, the pant seams started coming apart. Within the next two days, of a one year old hugging the doll (absolutely no rough play or throwing), both arms began coming apart at the seams. I was extremely disappointed in the quality and and called Camden Rose regarding the situation. They sent a replacement (at my shipping expense), and that doll came with a shirt which was so tightly fitted that the children (one and four) cannot take it on and off to play dress up. I contacted Camden Rose again and asked if they could send a shirt that would fit the doll for dress-up as intended, and the reply comment was "since I gave you a new doll after returning a used one, I think if you want a different shirt, purchase it". I was in disbelief!!! The next recommendation from Camden Rose was to send that doll back and purchase one that was twice as expensive, affirming that I would be satisfied with the quality of that doll! I have spent so much time trying to sort this out so I have a doll that is stitched together with removable clothes (as I did purchase a brand new doll) and the issue remains unresolved unless I spend more money at Camden Rose. I have had Evi dolls for years which have withheld tons of use, and even Under The Nile dolls....never had so many issues as this doll, and I am completely disappointed with the lack of concern for replacing defective parts to this doll and the quality of customer service. $60 is a lot of money to spend on a doll, especially one that the children can not use as intended. I highly suggest other brands of waldorf dolls!!!

I wanted to get a Waldorf doll for my son but couldn't afford one. This was the cheapest one I could find, and I even had a discount code. We love it. It is really beautifully made, so cute, and perfectly simple. It has become the second lovey -- now Charlie and my son's blankie are always on his bed.

Great product for people who can't afford the more pricey dolls.

I purchased this doll for my 20 month old son. It's very well made, as all the camden rose toys we own are. The clothes are so cute and it's just the right size for a toddler to carry around. The face is sweet with a simple expression. The hair is sewn with what I can only call a 'firm' yarn. I expected the hair to be soft and easily mussed but it's sewn tightly and appears to be very durable. I also like that this doll is not made in china, a quality becoming hard to come by in toys. I was able to catch a day after Thanksgiving sale on this doll at the palumba site. We own two of these, one boy and one girl, I would buy both again.

We purchased this doll for our son's second birthday...great first doll. He is playing with it more and more, we only wish it were easier to find extra outfits. Worth the money.
