This book came from a former Charlie Chan magazine. At best, it is a novelette. It is short on excitement and writing. At almost $13, it is too much buck for the bang. Watch the old movies and read the originals. Leave this one for a yard sale purchase.

From Kindle. Short novel. The Charlie Chan from the books and not from the movies. Good writer. Book is well written. Ending a bit huddled as if Collins was on deadline and had to finish the book in too much of a hurry.
