I had this set as a kid and I fondly remember reading every volume one summer. This set has a lot of information in it, but it's all accessible to children. If you have a curious child at home, this will be a great way for them to learn a little bit about a lot.

I got this set the Christmas after I turned five, and I loved it! I would read it and re-read it until I knew pretty much the whole set by heart, (my parents were exhausted lol). As an adult I realize that reading this set helped put me ahead in school, and fostered a love of learning that I still have. The funny thing is, once in awhile I'll see or hear something that I will remember from one of the Cyclopedia books, and I have a memory of reading about that certain tid-bit in the book as a kid. I highly recommendthis set! I am keeping my eyes out so I can get the set for my daughter when she is ready.
