A likeable fellow,
By Shalom Freedman "Shalom Freedman" (Jerusalem,Israel) - See all my reviews (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
This review is from: Charlie Rose with Henry Cisneros; Mario Puzo; Drew Nieporent (July 26, 1996) (DVD)
An interview with the author of 'The Godfather' who speaks about a new book also about the Mob but with a Hollywood connection. Puzo is a likeable personality- unpretentious and humorous. He talks about life before he had money and after it - and how the latter is preferable. He speaks about the life of the writer. He mentions Henry Roth who wrote a great book as a young man but who left writing for Puzo says forty years but actually sixty - before writing a second novel. Puzo is a worldly, smart and very likeable guy who Rose gets along with well ( As he usually does with his guests).
