Charlie and Lola are charming British kids who are delightfully quirky. Lauren Child has fabulous illustrations that appeal to both adults and children! This book would make a cute addition to a big brother or big sister gift for the birth of a new baby as it celebrates a sweet sibling relationship and some of the benefits and disadvantages of getting a little bigger!

I read the Charlie & Lola books for my headstart class. The children 3- 5 year olds love the books and sit still to listen to the stories. Great series, also a lot of the kids watch the tv show some of them started watching after we started reading the books. The books are featured in our Bookit program for the months of March & April!

This book was a Christmas gift to a Great, Great Nephew. I love the stories, but the book seemed very small for the price.
I expected a thicker book.

My granddaughters love the Charlie/Lola books. They seem to really identify with how the kids are feeling about things. This was great! Thanks!

Lola and Charlie are delightful characters brought to life with words that amuse and entertain all ages. Colorful, imaginative illustrations.

Lola, as always, has her mind set on doing something. This time she wants to ride the Super Duper Loopy Loop at the amusement park. Charlie knows she is too little and gently tries to give her options. Great little story on how sometimes it is okay to be a "bit small".

In the Lola and Charlie series, Lola is the one with ideas that often go wrong and Charlie is the big brother who always seems to have the right words to say. I love reading these books to children for the older sibling to see how much their words matter and for the younger ones to see the humor when things go wrong.
