A superb tool for any musician,

This book is a terrific collection of all Parker's songs and recorded solos. It has been great fun learning such complex and entertaining tunes and it has helped my own solo ability. In the middle of solos I've noticed bits of parker licks creeping into my music. It sounds even cooler being played on the electric bass! It can really surprise and impress your bandmates and audience when you incorporate parker licks into your solos and absolutely burn through them. It's great practice for your reading ability and can improve your creativity no matter what style music you play. Buy the goddamn thing!
