With a bit more promotion, this could have been huge. As stylish as it is thunderous, "Charlie Big Potato" quickly sheds the jungle beats of its introduction to paint a blurred but frightening portrait of the title character. While that introduction is missing from the single version, it appears on the video version, also included.

The real prize, however, is the non-album track "Feel." Immediately following "Charlie Big Potato," it is a ballad so gorgeous as to merit its own single. The combination of the two songs, plus the respectable "80's Mellow Drone," is reason enough to buy this product in mass quantities.

Spice Girl fascination aside, the Brits rock. Skunk Anansie is a prime example. This cut is excellent, Secretly (coming soon) is even better. You can listen to cuts from the entire album on the Virgin Records site.

I just got the "Charlie Big Potato" vid in the mail from Virgin (how they have my name I do not know) and I am *very* impressed. When Post Orgasmic Chill comes arrives in the states in August, I'm definitly mad dashing to pick it up.

THIS WAS THE THIRD SKUNK ANANSIE SINGLE I BOUGHT AFTER WEAK AND TWISTED. IT IS A GREAT ROCK SINGLE WITH SKIN SCREETCHING OUT THE VOCALS BEAUTIFULLY. A TOP SINGLE BUY IT!!!!!

After two and a half years of silence they are finally back. Skunk Anansie shows us one more time just why they are one of the greatest bands in the world. "Charlie Big Potato" might actually be their strongest song yet. Skin sings it with such intensity that it makes your skin crawl. My only advice is to run to the nearest recordstore and buy this single and the forthcomming album "Post Orgasmic Chill" You won't be sorry
