4.0 out of 5 stars A less than fully Presidential Clinton, January 22, 2008
This review is from: Charlie Rose - An Hour with former President Bill Clinton (December 14, 2007) (DVD)
I was bothered here by the way President Clinton spoke. It was too familiar, too commonplace- not Presidential and dignified to suit my taste. Former President Clinton is as everyone knows a tremendous communicator, a charismatic personality but somehow this comes out less one- to- one in an interview than it does in public speeches. Rose was good in the interview and managed to ask the embarassing stuff without making it too awkward for the former President. The economic boom of his White House years is spoken of as one of his great accomplishments. Rose should have but did not ask him how Pakistan became a nuclear power on his watch.
