Missing all the good stuff...,
By Jane Doe "~Moi" (california) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle/O.S.T. (Audio CD)
I just watched the movie on FX and decided to check out the soundtrack online it definatly blows. There were atleast TWO songs on the movie by one of my favorite bands the Prodigy:
Dirtbiking scene: Breathe(Prodigy)...and another scene had another prodigy song (firestarter) Neither songs were on the soundtrack. they also missed Irene Cara-What a feeling.... the list goes on, anyway, it stinks...so don't buy it.

Why oh why?,

Songs on here aren't too bad.. but with great tracks from Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers throughout the movie, why the odd choice of tracks for the soundtrack?

This is a great soundtrack. All of these songs are excellent. Feel Good Time by Pink sounds pretty good. I like the nice beat of this song. A Girl Like You by Edwyn Collins is a very smooth song that I liked very much. Nickleback's version of Elton John's Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting sounds ok. It is a song that fits well in this movie about tough women though. Loverboy's Working For Weekend and Journey's Anyway You Want, and Bon Jovi's Livin On A Prayer are just awesome rock songs from the 80's. They brought back a lot of memories from my teenage years. I love the classic songs from the 70's included here especially Donna Summer's Last Dance and Andy Gibb's I Just Wanna Be Your Everything. These 2 songs came out in the disco era of the 1970's when the original Charlie's Angels TV series was on television. Natalie Cole's This Will Be An Everlasting Love is a just a great feel good song. David Bowie's classic song Rebel Rebel sounds great remastered. MC Hammer's U Can't Touch This is a very good dance song from the early 90's and a wonderful addition to this soundtrack. This is one of the best soundtracks of the year so far.

Where is the Mexican bar song,

Sleep Walk, the September 21, 1959 #1 hit, not by the Ventures, as someone previously stated, but performed by the duo Santo and Johnny? Well? Huh? Huh? Maybe it was contractual, but man did the compilers miss the beat on this soundtrack. While the movie was pure escapism, I wanted to get up and dance throughout the entire film, I won't be dancing with this. Save your cash.

Rooftop scene - Chemical Brothers,
By Ben A Brown (Portland, Oregon United States) - See all my reviews

The rooftop scene song is "Block Rocking Beats" by the Chemical Brtohers from their album "Dig Your Own Hole."I must agree with many of the other reviewers: many of the best songs in the film are not on the soundtrack CD.

Action Movie - Where are the Action songs?,
By Michael L Greene (Marietta, GA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle/O.S.T. (Audio CD)
50% of this movie is raw, high energy action.. In the theater, the action sequences are enhanced by the musical tracks selected to play along with it. Who ever put this album together left all the fun emotive songs from the movie out, especially the action tracks. The Bowie track is a jewel, but I must say, before the film was even over I thought to myself, "This is going to be an awesome soundtrack", but there is nothing but disappointment there. Hammer Time, Rebel Rebel, the Journey song and a few others were actually in the movie, but I don't think this track list is representative of the film at all. Very disappointed. Where are the Prodigy tracks and the other Action sequence tracks?

Missing ALOT,
By A Customer
This review is from: Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle/O.S.T. (Audio CD)
The CD is excellent, the songs are mostly great (there are 1 or 2 I dont like). But where are the songs that stand out? Pink Panther? Firestarter?I counted at least 7 of my favorite songs in the movie that did not make it to this CD. I wouldn't call it a soundtrack, since I'm pretty sure most of the music on the CD is NOT in the movie. I dont regret buying it, but I wish soundtracks would be SOUNDTRACKS, not music from and inspired by.

Good Album But Wheres The Rock,
By Rachel (UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle/O.S.T. (Audio CD)
I was quite dissapointed after seeing the film that the soundtrack missed many of the fantastic rock songs used in its action sequences, and instead stuck to the more poppy songs many I can't even remember hearing during the film. If you want this amble expecting some thrilling guitar solos, I'd give it a miss, though it is good for chilling out to.By the way the fantastic Rage Against the Machine song heard in the first action sequence is Sleep Now In The Fire.

this soundtrack is missing two key songs from the movie. Rage Against the Machine's - sleep now in the fire (from the opening scene) and prodigy's - firestarter.
