Charlie's Angel Editorial Review coming.

From the Author

I just loved writing this book.  It started out as contest to write 50,000 words in a month.  It went so well that I decided to finish it and get it out there.  It was my first Novel.  Charlie & Angel were such great characters that I decided to build a series around them and their families.  They had so much going on in their lives that there is no way I could tell it all in one story.  I hope that you love this series as I do.  Each book so far as finished and could be a stand alone novel, but there is so much more to learn about these characters so hang on and enjoy the read.

This author definitely has a heart for spreading the Word, and all the right words to do so. Characters who seem headed for destruction, find salvation instead. She must be well acquainted with God's forgiveness and love because it overflows from every page.

I was given this novel to read by a family member while vacationing. Once I got started, the rest of the family didn't see me until I finished. The plot drew me in like that of a James Patterson or John Grisham volume. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants an intriguing story to occupy their mind.

To be honest, I went into this book with a preconceived notion that it would be a corny spin off of the series I watched as a child. I was very glad to be wrong. While I did get a little confused to begin with over the characters and who they were, I think it was because I was trying to figure out where the story would go instead of just letting it take me there..... When I let go of my expectations, I found myself completely immersed in the story, the characters, and the surroundings. This was a great tale of what God can do when you allow Him control. I found myself admiring Charlie for sticking to her principles as much as she could without sacrificing the needs of her family. I also like how she weaved the 2 characters together in a way that wasn't quite what you thought was going to happen. Really a great story AND There is also a sneak peek into book 2 of the series at the end, It has definately left me wanting more!

I honestly wish that there were more books like these out there! I don't read from the "Romance" genre - because, let's face it, they are "R" rated - and I don't want to subject myself to that. But this book was romantic in a pure and Christian way, and I enjoyed that. Hope you'll write more, Samantha!

I started reading this not knowing it was a christian type of story but was pleasantly surprised with how well it was written so it wasn't a "preachy" type of story. Instead you find yourself asking the very same questions the characters did and wanting some answers to them too, as the author put them in some very interesting situations to deal with. I would say this was a middle of the line christian book, not too preachy but not too little of it either. The story itself made for a excellent read.

Charlie's Angel (Street Justice book one)
Samantha Fury
This book is about a small town girl named Charlie who ends up homeless in one of Chicago's rougher boroughs. A good Christian girl Charlie finds herself having to question everything she ever believed about people. She has to take charity from a prostitute and finds herself through a set of unusual circumstances working as an escort for the local pimp. Charlie doesn't understand how God could have let her fall into these circumstances. She wonders if she could have done things differently when God shows her how he uses all things for good. Soon she has a job that is the career she always wanted helping a reformed criminal and new Christian start growing in faith and helping other young ladies out of lives of addiction and prostitution. Along the way, she falls in love with the worst kind of man. Angel is the local crime bosses personal bodyguard. Or is he? He has no time for a woman in his life especially a woman like Charlie. Yet the two are attracted to each other. In spite of their personal resolve to not act on that attraction they seem to be unable to resist the attraction. Will they find a way past their many differences in a real relationship; or will the circumstances that once thrust them together now work to keep them apart?

This book was a fun read and grabbed my attention from word one when we are introduced to a blood covered pistol holding Charlie. Ms. Fury has crafted a story of seeing God work in mysterious ways. Both Charlie and Angel are very well defined characters. As are all the supporting cast. From the start you are rooting for Charlie to not only survive but to win through all her problems to a victory.

I was very surprised how much I enjoyed this novel. I guess I expected it to be a little boring and I was very pleased that it wasnt. I loved the people and story. I love that during my read I could see what the author was describing I felt like I was there and I felt that way throughout the book.
It kept me interested and even though the book has a picture on the cover I still seen what I thought they looked like in my mind. Sorry Samantha I love the cover but I visialized different looking people in your book.
The best part of that is when I see them in my mind and I see where they are and what the room looks like I know Im into the book. And that its a wonderful book that has my attention.
And thats why we read its an imaginary world we live in. I totally enjoyed this book.
It was a great read and have told many of my friends to check it out.
Great job Samantha Fury. Cant wait to read your next novel.
