5.0 out of 5 stars For every woman with a best friend, July 4, 2001
By A Customer
Joan Barfoot has touched the heart of every woman with this wonderful story of two women, best friends all their lives now facing old age from different perspectives. One widowed after a long marraige to a less than faithful husband, the other never married but often the mistress of other less than faithful husbands. Their journey to themselves and eachother will make you laugh out loud and cry tears of joy. A warm touching read that makes the thought of getting old not so bad as long as you have your best friend.
