4.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware, February 25, 2009

Just an FYI that many copies of this book were misprinted -- there is no page 58, and two page 59's. So when you hit page 58, you'll miss some action -- not that you won't be able to guess what happened to Rachel, Kirsty, and Charlotte.

Another FYI: if you DO happen to have one of the misprinted copies, Scholastic won't help you to replace it -- they'll ask that you return the copy to the store, or online store, from which you bought it. If you bought the book from one of the Scholastic book clubs, they might help you -- MIGHT.

Scholastic foists all responsibility for their printing mistakes back on the consumer, and won't replace any misprinted copies of any of their books -- that's the policy I received when querying Scholastic customer service. They churn the books out, and if the books have errors, well, it's up to you, the consumer, to work out a solution yourself.

About the book: it's typical Rainbow Magic fun, as Rachel and Kirsty continue their vacation helping the Petal Fairies get back their magic petals from mean Jack Frost and crew. The goblins, who are, as usual, greedy and none too bright, have some funny moments in this book -- the illustrations brought forth laughter from my daughter when we were reading this.
